Heather is an authentic and demonstrated mental health and wellbeing advocate. Heather has overcome mental health challenges and speaks from her own experiences to inspire and help others. In 2011, she helped raise $800 for PANDA support helpline for mothers as a volunteer speaker on mental health for mothers. May 2016, she abseiled a 27 floor skyscraper as Catwoman raising $1200 in a week for Kids in foster care for Anglicare Victoria. Often performing or appearing as Catwoman for fundraising events including the Good Friday Appeal for Royal Children's Hospital. She has also provided nearly 2 years of brand and design services to the Pink Hope Foundation.
Heather kicked off her fitness career in a bodybuilding competition at the age of 42 on 13 May 2017. Placing 3rd in the Over 35's Swimsuit Model Division at the Australian Natural Bodybuilding (ANB) Melbourne Titles. Heather currently studies Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness with the Australian Fitness Academy. Her aspirations also include study in nutrition and health science. Heather made the leap of faith to add kids entertainment to her acting career in early 2017, with Catwoman For Kids - Australia's No. 1 Family Friendly Catwoman. This followed the success of cosplaying for charity and ability to bring the Dark Knight Catwoman to life. She loves making people happy and loved working with Kids Party Heroes and Xlent Events. Her fans are now asking for her to bring Wonder Woman and other female empowered characters to her cosplay repertoire. She is currently on a break from entertaining.
