This was a brand revamp project for Lick of Smoke BBQ competition team based in Melbourne. Mock ups included t-shirts, caps, competition marquee tent, flags, food storage and apron.

The logo resembled too closely to a renowned brand and I advise some changes to ensure there was a clear difference to ensure it didn’t cause IP infringement issues for the team.

They didn’t want to move too far off the original logo, so there are some similarities. The result turned out well for them and continue to use the brand proudly today.
